It consists of the towns of Widnes and Runcorn, connected by two iconic bridges and a number of pretty rural parishes. There is easy access to the motorways, three train stations including one with a 2 hour direct link to London and two airports, each under 30 mins away. The council aims to provide efficient and effective services to the residents of Halton. The public health team aligns with new corporate aims and values to improve the health of local people.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Consultant in Public Health at Halton Borough Council. The Consultant will be responsible for tasks related to health policy, health protection, health equity and some commissioning. The role will primarily be based in the listed Runcorn town hall building with some opportunities for remote work.
