Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Commissioning Support Officer on a full-time fixed-term basis in Warwickshire Public Health. The role covers all stages of the commissioning cycle, from evaluating contracted services to researching data and informing decisions, focusing on children aged 0 to 19, sexual health, and healthy lifestyles.

You will work with commissioners and public health practitioners, learn from lived experience, and report to the Public Health Commissioning Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering projects from start to finish

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of contracted services
• Support all stages of the commissioning cycle
• Complete research
• Learn from people with lived experience of services to improve them
• Use data and evidence to support decision making
• Work as part of a wider team on all aspects of commissioning activity
• Work alongside commissioners and public health practitioners
• Report to one of the two Public Health Commissioning Managers
