Job Title: Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Lead

Salary: £104,686- £123,160 in London, or £90,440 - £106,400 outside of London

Locations: London, Halifax, Leeds or Manchester

Working Pattern: Hybrid, with at least two days per week at designated locations.

Your role as Infrastructure Engineering Lead involves leading a team of up to 20 engineers, working collaboratively to deliver value to our customers.

What You’ll Need

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Python, PowerShell)
• DevOps / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience
• Knowledge of Cloud networking and Enterprise Scale and Landing zone

Additional Useful Experience

• FinOps mentality and cloud solution right-sizing
• Security and governance in engineering (e.g., Identity and Access Management)
• Experience with cloud native governance and policy tooling
• Platform automation and asset management in cloud
• Implementing governance frameworks for cloud usage and security
• Collaborating with compliance, risk, and audit teams to meet regulatory requirements
• Ensuring compliance with frameworks like CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53
• Developing automated continuous compliance monitoring solutions
• Assessing cloud environments for drift and misconfiguration, automating remediation
• Deploying audit and policy enforcement in cloud environments
