Job summary

HotelCare in London/Greater London seeks a Public Area Cleaner to maintain immaculate hotel public spaces. You will join a fast-paced team and ensure guest areas are spotless, welcoming, and well-presented throughout shifts. The role offers on-site work with flexible hours and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates have hospitality cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality cleaning or public area cleaner roles is preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team with good time management.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to client requirements.
• Can-do attitude with integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
• Awareness of safety regulations and COSHH compliance.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated public areas such as corridors, lifts, lobbies, offices, reception areas, stairs, ironing rooms, changing rooms, and meeting rooms.
• Performing cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard within a fast-paced environment.
• Following health and safety protocols including COSHH guidelines.
• Reporting maintenance problems or hazards to management promptly.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve cleanliness goals.
• Providing exceptional customer service by ensuring public areas are clean and presentable.
