The Sebel Noosa, nestled between Main Beach and the Noosa River, offers a range of Hamptons inspired one and two-bedroom apartments just steps away from the cosmopolitan shops and cafés of Hastings Street. Noosa has a range of offerings where in your downtime you are encouraged to find your balance. From beach walks before or after work to yoga retreats, catching a wave at any one of the surrounding shores, or walking the famed Noosa National Park.

Purpose

As a Public Area Cleaner, you are an important part of our Housekeeping crew, ensuring our shared spaces are super clean and paying attention to all the small details. You will be comfortable working alone or with your team, and you will love chatting with guests, assisting them with any questions or needs they might have.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out
• Embrace the cleaning challenge, sprucing up both indoor and outdoor public areas (including pool, gym, and shared bathrooms) to meet our high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Eagerly stepping in to support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed
• Expertly handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind
• Offer help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborate with different departments to accomplish tasks
• Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role (as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant) is a plus
• Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease
• You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
• Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas
• You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
• Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays as required
