Job summary

The Bath Priory is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep our Georgian hotel’s public spaces pristine and inviting for guests. You’ll be part of a friendly team, ensuring spotless lobbies, lounges, stairs and bathrooms, while upholding high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Experience isn’t required as training is provided. We value personality, flexibility with rotas, and a willingness to learn, with service charge shared among the team and other generous staff perks on offer.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Flexibility with rotas is important.
• COSHH training is beneficial and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobby, lounge, stairs and bathrooms to keep front of house areas gleaming.
• Maintain a welcoming, tidy environment for guests throughout shifts.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Location:The Bath Priory (part of the Brownsword family of hotels) has a great location in Bath, just a short walk from the city centre, with a bus stop right outside. The hotel is stunning, a Georgian house with 33 bedrooms built in honey- coloured Bath stone and is surrounded by four acres of multi- award-winning gardens. We are proud to have won awards at 5-star level for over ten years and we are seeking sparkling new personalities to join our family.
SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £160 a month (close to £2000 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.

As a Public Area Attendantyou will keep all front of house areas are gleaming, ready to welcome our wonderful guests.

We welcome applications from candidates with no experience, as this role is all about personality and attitude, we can teach you the rest.
