Public Affairs Manager
Location: Essex

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public affairs activities aligned with the charity's vision and overall strategy.
  • Support the establishment of the charity's policy positions and deliver their influencing objectives.
  • Amplify the charity's voice in Parliament, across the devolved nations, and in political spheres, fostering relationships with parliamentarians, decision-makers, and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with members of the wider team to contribute to important policy work.

The Successful Applicant

Public Affairs Manager
Location: Essex

Essential:

  • Strong grasp of parliamentary processes in Westminster, Scotland, and the other devolved nations.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders in Government, industry, and other charities and foundations.
  • Experience in proactively identifying opportunities to influence.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to grasp complex issues quickly and share information in an accessible way across a variety of audiences.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall.
