Job summary

UK Finance's Public Affairs and Public Policy team invites a motivated professional to monitor political developments, analyse parliamentary activity, and support engagement with MPs, ministers and policymakers.

You will work with policy colleagues to inform advocacy campaigns, prepare briefings, and help shape responses to government announcements and legislation, gaining exposure to a broad range of financial services policy issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse political developments relevant to UK Finance and its members.
• Provide clear and timely political intelligence for colleagues and members.
• Support UK Finance’s political engagement, including meetings with parliamentarians and ministers.
• Help deliver public affairs campaigns on priority issues.
• Track Bills and amendments and prepare briefings and advocacy materials.
• Build and maintain political relationships across Westminster and beyond.
• Prepare public affairs materials such as updates and stakeholder briefings.
