Job summary

JD Wetherspoon is looking for a Pub Team Member to join a busy venue in the UK. The position is offered on a Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal basis with pay up to £12.71 per hour.

You will welcome guests, take food and drink orders, serve at the bar, handle payments, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. You’ll also help keep the restaurant and bar areas clean and organised, and work closely with colleagues to deliver great service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pub/restaurant or customer service desirable but training provided.
• Effective communication skills and a guest-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Applicants must meet the minimum legal age of 18 to sell alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with a friendly attitude and ensuring they have a great experience.
• Taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and preparing beverages at the bar.
• Handling payments and ensuring orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
• Keeping the restaurant, bar, and service areas clean, organised, and running smoothly.
• Working closely with all team across the venue to deliver operational excellence.
• Knowing the menu well enough to assist guests with recommendations and queries.
