As the Pub Manager, you'll be at the heart of an energetic pub team, leading with clear direction and motivation. You'll inspire your team to hit their goals and uphold high standards by demonstrating best practices. You'll be hands-on with performance, offering feedback to help your team grow, tackling challenges, and supporting their development. Managing resources like budgets and tools will be key to keeping things running smoothly. You'll also be the driving force behind fantastic guest experiences, continuously improving interactions and resolving issues. Additionally, you'll ensure everything stays safe, compliant, and aligned with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
  2. Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  3. Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, provide regular feedback, coaching, and conduct reviews.
  4. Resource Management: Oversee staff scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximize efficiency and meet business needs.
  5. Adhere to JD Wetherspoon’s SOPs and company policies.
  6. Problem Solving: Resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  7. Training and Development: Support staff development through ongoing training, mentoring, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in roles such as Pub Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership positions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
