We are seeking an experienced and dynamicPub Managerto lead our independent Pub, B&B, and Café located in Birmingham. This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, leadership, and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of driving revenue and business development through effective strategy, marketing, and customer engagement. Youll be confident in implementing initiatives that attract new customers while building loyalty among regulars. You will also be hands-on in managing and developing our existing team, with focus on training, performance, and operational efficiency to ensure a smooth and profitable running of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to ensure high standards of service.

Rota management and monitoring staff performance.

Managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.

Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular inventory checks.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.

Must have cellar experience this includes pipe cleaning, wash-down of cellar, check gas, barrels and cleaning fluids.

Organising and hosting events, including live music, themed nights, and private functions.

Skills & Experience

Personal Alcohol & Pub Licence (desired)

Supporting the pub owner in overseeing daily operations, including managing staff, inventory, and finances.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Effective management skills in financial budgets.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
