JD Wetherspoon Plc is hiring a kitchen team member to prepare and cook food, keeping the kitchen running smoothly while maintaining high cleanliness, safety and customer service standards.

With flexible shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes and supported by their award-winning training, you can learn on the job and progress within a friendly, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver good customer service.
• Good communication in English and understanding of training materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to the correct specification.
• Operate kitchen workstations (grills, fryers, microwaves, etc.).
• Work as part of a team to meet time and quality targets.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy; rotate stock and store food safely.
• Complete required inductions and on-going training; contribute to continuous improvement.
