Goddard Arms, part of Stonegate Group, is looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team at our Old Swindon pub. You'll coach and mentor staff, uphold high standards of food knowledge and safety, and ensure COSHH and H&S compliance. The role involves recruiting, training, scheduling, stock control, and driving sales through strong kitchen-front-of-house collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams and staff coaching.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard kitchen staff with an inclusive approach.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team, providing ongoing training and growth.
• Maintain high kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage kitchen scheduling to balance labour costs.
• Conduct regular stock checks to control costs.
• Foster strong relationships between kitchen and front-of-house to grow sales.
