Job summary

The Chevalier Inn in Exeter is hiring a Cleaner to join the J D Wetherspoon team. No experience is required; a positive attitude, reliability and a calm head under pressure are valued. You will learn all cleaning standards and help ensure a welcoming, spotless pub environment for guests.

Shifts are flexible with early mornings and late finishes. The role offers training through our UK Top Employer programme, paid holiday, and opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• No experience required; good attitude, willingness to learn, calm head under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning all areas of the pub thoroughly to high standards.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following procedures.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely.
• Monitor supplies and notify manager when replenishment is needed.
• Report maintenance and pest issues to the manager on duty.
• Interact politely with customers and maintain a welcoming environment.
