Job summary

J D Wetherspoon is hiring a Cleaner for The Standing Order, Derby. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional cleanliness across the pub, including customer areas, toilets and the bar, with flexible shifts from mornings to afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the pub to high standards (customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following standard procedures.
• Follow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are needed.
• Report maintenance and pest-management issues to the manager on duty.
• Interact politely with customers, greeting, thanking and bidding them farewell.
• Complete induction and ongoing refresher training and contribute to improvement.
