Job summary

McMullen & Sons Ltd. is seeking a passionate Chef to join our busy pub team in Borehamwood. You will prepare and serve our menu to a high standard, maintain food hygiene and a safe kitchen environment, and contribute to a warm, welcoming guest experience.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.76, a share of gratuities, weekly pay, and development opportunities through our GROW Programme. Previous kitchen experience is essential, with training provided in-house and in our Hertford Development

Qualifications

Previous experience in a busy kitchen is essential.
Food hygiene knowledge is required.
Willingness to train and develop skills.

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving our menu to a high standard as per company specification to ensure our guests return again and again
Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards within the business and completion of company paperwork with regards to such standards
Receiving deliveries and maintaining the correct storage of food
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
