Job summary

TECNIQ are a creative, technology-driven design, engineering, and manufacturing business based in Witham, Essex. We are seeking a PU Technician to assemble PU parts and support production planning in a factory environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and reliability.

You will work Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30, earning up to £30,160 per year (£14.50 per hour) with overtime possible after probation. Benefits include 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, free onsite parking and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production planning schedules.
• Work closely with supervisor and team leaders to ensure products meet production standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of your department and workstations.
• Follow technical data sheets when working on components.
• Adhere to all work processes set by TECNIQ.
• Cut, manufacture and assemble PU parts per the production plan.
• Carry out quality inspections of finished goods before final assembly.
• Manufacture and assemble PU parts to the required standards.
• Report any concerns to supervisor or team leader promptly.
• Report issues likely to affect continuous production to PU Supervisor.
• Maintain job knowledge through training opportunities.
• Carry out other reasonable requests from supervisors and managers.
