Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North of England. You will be responsible for setting out and monitoring works on site, producing ITPs and ensuring quality control in line with project specifications.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent), 2+ years of civils/rail experience, and valid PTS/CSCS cards. This is a long-term, site-based opportunity with a major contractor.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years experience in civils or rail environment.
• PTS/CSCS card holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site.
• Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans.
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded per specification.
• Promote health and safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Raising of technical queries.
• Ensure materials used and works meet specifications.

My client, a high profile civil engineering and construction tier 1 are currently looking for a Site Engineer for a prestigious rail framework in the North England.

The role is long term and the project includes civil's works within a railway environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Setting out and monitoring of works on site
• Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
• Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
• Raising of technical queries
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications

Candidate Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience working within either a civils or rail environment
• PTS/CSCS card
• Tier 1 background
