Job Details

We are an agency recruiting on behalf of our client for temporary weekend workers in the Wakefield area. The role involves working as PTS labourers in a railway environment.

Job Description

Working with one of our well-established clients, Network Rail, they require PTS workers to join a team with regular weekend work.

Having your own transport to and from the depot is your responsibility.

About the Role

Working for a national client, you must be prepared to use a shovel and work in a railway environment. Ideally, a white hat, but applications from blue hats are also accepted. The work varies weekly but mainly involves changing sleepers or preparatory works.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: Weekends only, Saturday nights, for 6 weeks

• Skills and Personal Qualities:
• Be strong with plenty of stamina
• Be energetic and healthy, as the work is physically demanding
• Good hearing and colour vision

• Strong sense of responsibility for safety and train operations
• Efficient use of tools
• Calmness in emergencies

Salary

£18 per hour, paid via Umbrella PAYE or PAYE
