Job summary

East Lancashire Learning Group is recruiting a part-time hourly paid Maths Lecturer to deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths at Accrington and Rossendale College. The role offers 9–18 hours per week during term-time, with a casual contract and based primarily at Accrington and Rossendale College, with travel to other sites as needed.

You will join a dedicated Maths team, teaching 16–19 programmes and contributing to outstanding student experiences.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised teaching qualification.
• Holds a degree in Maths or a related subject, or a degree in an alternative subject plus A Level Maths.
• Has experience of delivering GCSE Maths - and ideally Functional Skills Maths - in an FE or Secondary setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths learners on 16-19 study programmes.
• Promote the College’s high standards and expectations for both students and colleagues.
• Engage in continuous professional development and uphold quality processes to provide an Outstanding experience.

• Plan, deliver and assess GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths learners on 16-19 study programmes.
