Primary Purpose

This role involves filling prescriptions, assisting customers, unpacking totes, answering phones, and addressing customer inquiries within established guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at shift start, ensuring PPE compliance.
2. Unpack and organize incoming supplies on shelves.
3. Maintain cleanliness of shelving, monitor inventory levels, and check expiration dates.
4. Assist customers and handle telephone communications.
5. Verify customer identification for product sales as required.
6. Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and understand necessary to perform duties and follow safety policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards.
• Capable of using required equipment and tools safely.
• Willing to wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Possess and maintain any required licenses or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4 hours, variable based on needs.
• Physical exertion: lift/carry up to 50 lbs., stand approximately 55%, walk 45%.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Compliance with pharmacy laws and standards.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy-specific trainings.
