Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant in Nottingham to support the dining service, assist with food preparation and meal service, and maintain clean dining and kitchen areas.

A DBS check is required prior to appointment; previous catering or hygiene experience is beneficial. This temporary role offers local shifts and exposure to hospital catering operations.

• Serve meals and replenish counters during service.
• Prepare dining areas before service and clear down afterwards.
• Replenish food and beverage counters during service periods.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
• Wash dishes, utensils and catering equipment.
• Clean kitchen areas, dining halls, food preparation surfaces and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations and Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and assist with recycling procedures.
