Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
2. Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
3. Assist with special projects and perform tasks assigned by supervisors.
4. Train and support fellow associates as needed.
5. Communicate effectively within the department and organization.
6. Adhere to management and productivity guidelines.
7. Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe and clean.
8. Treat colleagues with fairness and respect.
9. Develop product knowledge in bakery items such as rolls, desserts, cakes, muffins, bagels, coffees, and platters.
10. Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
11. Prepare, proof, and bake bakery products as assigned.
12. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements for specific duties.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive hand and arm motions while standing or walking.
• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Reach overhead and shoulder level as needed.
• Work in hot or cold environments for short periods.
• Operate controls, handle tools, and manage food and cleaning substances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to package, display, and organize bakery products.
• Replenish merchandise, prepare products, and set up displays.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
• Sanitize equipment according to guidelines.
• Decorate cakes and personalize baked goods when required.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour
