Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking an experienced Psychotherapist to join the Clinical Team at Bramfield House School in England. You will deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and related emotional needs.

You will implement a holistic therapeutic approach, conduct specialist assessments, prepare reports and work with the on-site team to enhance clinical services. Training staff and parents is also a key element.

Qualifications

• Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist, Level 7 or above OR Level 6 degree with relevant therapy diploma and experience with client group
• Accredited member of HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC or UKCP
• Integrative therapist with CBT-informed approach
• Not newly qualified; more than 2 years' experience
• Specialist education setting experience/working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent setting preferred
• Clear report writing relating to clinical and research activities
• Experience with neurodivergence and complex needs
• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Undertake psychotherapy assessments and develop intervention plans for pupils with complex needs
• Deliver bespoke therapeutic interventions and maintain holistic therapeutic approach
• Prepare clinical documentation and reports adhering to guidelines
• Collaborate with onsite clinical team to develop service provision and train staff and parents
• Maintain safeguarding practices and work within regulatory guidelines

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team based at Bramfield House School.

In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment, and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.

You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Our well-established multidisciplinary Clinical Team maintain a nurturing environment where our pupils can flourish, always putting them at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and our pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

• Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist, either Level 7 (e.g. Master's degree) or above OR Level 6 relevant degree alongside relevant therapeutic diploma/s and experience of working with relevant client group and using relevant methods of service delivery
• Accredited member of one or more of the following bodies: HCPC, BACP, BABCP, PTUK, NCPC, UKCP
• Integrative therapist, CBT informed
• Not newly qualified, more than 2 years' experience
• Specialist education setting experience/working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent - preferred.
• Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
• Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
• Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
• Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated speciality
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
