Job summary

Essential: honours degree in Psychology and progression toward a PhD; expertise in R or qualitative methodologies; ability to work independently and within a team; strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology or related field with teaching/learning background
• PhD qualification in a relevant subject being pursued or completed
• Expert knowledge of psychology and teaching/learning principles
• Experience with admin tasks and course coordination is desirable
• Strong IT skills and ability to use teaching software

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, organisation and delivery of teaching
• Deliver a range of teaching and assessment activities
• Participate in course administration and timely feedback
• Develop teaching materials aligned to learning objectives
• Utilise learning technologies to support delivery and assessment
• Apply inclusive, evidence-based approaches to teaching
• Supervise student projects and dissertations as needed
• Engage in continuing professional development
• Undertake other duties as required by the Head of School
• Contribute to the University’s international profile
