Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality psychology lessons to primary and secondary level students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing
• Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the psychology curriculum
• Supervise and mentor students during practical experiments and research projects
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in psychology education and implement innovative teaching strategies
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching psychology at the primary or secondary level
• Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
