A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a committed and passionate Psychology Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to teach Psychology at KS4 and KS5 and to be part of a welcoming and supportive department with a strong record of academic success.
The Role:
- Teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5, following national curriculum specifications (including AQA).
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that foster student interest and academic excellence.
- Provide regular feedback, assessment, and support to help students reach their potential.
- Contribute to the wider school community and promote the subject across all year groups.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A relevant degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Psychology (including EDUQAS or AQA).
- A passion for promoting mental health, critical thinking, and social understanding in young learners.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students of mixed ability.
