About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Psychology lessons at A-Level, covering core areas such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology, biological psychology, and research methods.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate case studies, research activities, ethical debates, and critical analysis of psychological theories and studies.
• Assess student progress through essays, presentations, research reports, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback to support their academic development in psychology.
• Organize and facilitate psychology-related discussions, debates, and potentially visits or guest speakers to enrich students' learning experiences.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching A-Level Psychology, with a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
• A strong understanding of psychological research methods, ethical considerations, and the ability to critically evaluate psychological theories.
