Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher looking for a new challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school? Veritas Education is currently seeking a passionate Psychology Teacher to join a well-established school in the Huddersfield area.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Psychology Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Psychology, capable of encouraging curiosity and critical thinking in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach KS4 and A-Level Psychology, tailoring learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school CPD

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and/or A-Level
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and commitment to student progress
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply)
