We are looking for a knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Harrow, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal Psychology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5. We require a dedicated Psychology Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons, covering core psychological concepts.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Develop students' understanding of psychological principles and analytical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the psychology curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead psychology-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Psychology.
  • Proven experience teaching psychology at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of psychological theory.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
