Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Camden starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering understanding of psychological principles and preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. The role involves developing curriculum resources, assessing student progress, and leading extracurricular activities related to psychology.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons covering core concepts.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams.
  • Develop students' understanding of psychological principles and analytical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and resources.
  • Organize and lead psychology-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Psychology.
