Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel is supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in Northamptonshire in their search for a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Psychology to join their dynamic team in September 2025.

Role Overview:
As Teacher of Psychology, you will play a central role in delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum that challenges and inspires students. You will join a supportive, innovative department currently reviewing its curriculum to ensure it remains rigorous, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies
  • Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform future planning
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports the wellbeing and progress of all students
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and pastoral teams to support the academic and emotional development of students
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the Psychology curriculum and effective teaching methods
  • A passion for inspiring young people and developing critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
