Responsibilities of a Psychology Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons to Key Stage 4 and 5 students

Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

Use a range of teaching methods to support students of all abilities

Monitor and assess student progress regularly

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school’s wider curriculum

Be an active part of school life, including meetings, parent evenings and enrichment activities

Requirements to be a Psychology Teacher:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

A degree in Psychology or a related subject

Experience teaching Psychology at secondary or sixth form level in the UK

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
