Job summary

AQA is seeking a Subject Support Manager for Psychology and Law to empower teachers across England. You will support guidance, resources, and subject insight to ensure confident delivery of the curriculum.

You’ll work with a large teaching community and represent Psychology and Law at events, conferences and in product development. The role requires engaging with schools, aligning with internal teams, and travelling nationally with some overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Current or former teaching experience and credibility with teachers.
• Strong understanding of A level Psychology and GCSE Psychology and their pedagogy.
• Awareness of GCSE/A‑level assessment and the education landscape.

Responsibilities

• Represent AQA and deliver key subject messages to external audiences.
• Support schools, centres and teachers with queries and plan/deliver Psychology and Law specifications.
• Engage with teachers face‑to‑face and online to support improvement and confidence.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and use insights to shape future developments.
• Gather/analyse data and feedback to inform decisions and improve delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Events for smooth delivery.
