Psychology Graduates - Work in Schools (Southampton & Hampshire)

Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with young people in schools? We have fantastic opportunities available across Southampton and Hampshire, offering day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles in mainstream, SEMH, SEND and alternative provisions.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your psychology knowledge in a practical setting, supporting students with their learning, well-being, and development. You will gain hands-on experience working with children and young people, making a real impact in educational settings.



Role Overview:

  • Supporting students in the classroom, helping with their academic and social development.
  • Working one-to-one or in small groups with students who need additional support.
  • Assisting teachers in managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Providing emotional and pastoral support to students, particularly those with SEMH or SEND needs.


What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • A passion for working with young people and making a difference in their education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly in different school settings.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) or willingness to apply for one.
