Protocol Education Ltd is seeking Psychology graduates looking to make a difference starting September. As an Educational Support Worker in Swindon, you will assist students with special educational needs (SEND), offering them guidance and support throughout the school day. This flexible role involves collaboration with educators to enhance the learning experience for those needing additional help. We value compassion and commitment over experience and offer opportunities for professional development through free training.
Location: Swindon
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm (full-time and part-time available)
If you’re a Psychology graduate who’s curious about a future in Educational or Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or simply want to gain hands-on experience supporting young people, this one’s for you.
We’re on the lookout for kind, thoughtful graduates who are ready to support pupils with additional needs across schools in Swindon. You don’t need bags of experience, just the right mindset, a bit of patience, and a genuine interest in SEN (Special Educational Needs). Think autism support, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and a whole lot of 1:1 encouragement.
Supporting students with ASD, SEMH or PMLD across the school day
Helping out with interventions and small group work
Being that consistent, calm adult they know they can rely on
Working alongside teaching and support staff to create a positive, structured environment
A Psychology degree (or relevant field)
A calm, flexible approach. No two days are the same
Bonus points if you’ve worked with children or adults with SEND, but not essential
A genuine interest in helping young people thrive
Weekly pay (PAYE—no umbrella company nonsense)
A dedicated consultant who actually picks up the phone
FREE access to in-person CPD and Thrive training (trust us, it’s a game-changer for SEN roles)
Your own online availability lounge to keep things flexible
We believe in people, not perfect CVs. If you’re compassionate, committed, and curious about SEND—you’re halfway there.
