Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day – Bramhall, Stockport

Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in education or child development? Would you like to use your knowledge of behaviour, mental health, and learning to support students in a secondary school setting?

A well-regarded secondary school in Bramhall (Stockport) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time role for the full academic year, with the potential to lead to further training, such as teacher training or educational psychology.

In This Role, You Will:

Support students with SEND and SEMH needs, both in class and through 1:1 or small group interventions

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

Help students overcome barriers to learning through behaviour, emotional, or academic support

Work alongside pastoral, SEN, and safeguarding teams to promote wellbeing and engagement

Gain valuable insight into how schools support young people with additional needs

Key Information:

Location: Bramhall, Stockport

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time, full academic year

Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (based on experience)
