Are you a psychology graduate interested in working with children with behavioural and mental health needs? We have numerous schools across Haringey seeking confident and proactive graduates with a good understanding of child mental health to work as teaching assistants.

As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1-to-1 basis during the school day. Pupils will be aged 5-11 and may have behaviour, SEMH, SEN including ASD needs requiring full-time support. You will work within the classroom, in specialist mentoring sessions, and during some break times. Some pupils may display challenging behaviour, and the school will provide training in appropriate interventions and approaches. You will collaborate closely with the school's SENCO, senior management, and outside agencies including therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS.
