Role: Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Pay Rate: £90–£140 per day
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a psychology graduate with a passion for supporting young people? GSL Education are seeking Psychology Graduates to join schools in Chelmsford as a Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for aspiring educational psychologists, therapists, or teachers looking to gain first-hand school-based experience.

What the Role Involves:
• Providing one-to-one and group support for students with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs
• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a structured learning environment
• Using your psychological insight to support emotional regulation and engagement
• Helping track student progress and contribute to learning plans
• Working closely with SENCOs and pastoral teams to tailor interventions

You’ll Need:
• A degree in Psychology or a closely related subject
• Interest in child development, mental health, or educational psychology
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
