Job summary

Aspire People in Leeds is seeking a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a mainstream setting. This long-term, full-time position offers steady classroom exposure for the full academic year.

You will assist students with ASD, PMLD and ADHD, work across primary or secondary settings, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment while developing your teaching career goals.

Qualifications

• UK Psychology bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Experience supporting young people (tutoring, mentoring, youth work) preferred.
• Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Long term, full-time role in the same school for the full academic year.
• Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school.
• Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD.
