Job summary

Teaching Personnel is inviting applications for Behaviour Support Assistants in Guildford, Surrey. If you are a psychology student or graduate, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils with SEN and emotional/behavioural needs, helping them regulate emotions and participate in class.

You will work alongside teachers and SENCOs in a safe learning environment, with flexible full-time or part-time hours and a competitive pay rate dependent on experience. Immediate or January starts available.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for, or recently graduated with, a degree in Psychology or a related subject.
• Genuine interest in child psychology, SEN, mental health or behavioural development.
• Patient, empathetic, resilient and confident building relationships with children.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Previous experience with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities
