Job Description:

This role is ideal for Psychology graduates aspiring to become Probation Officers, based in Camberley. It offers valuable experience working with vulnerable students, supporting their engagement and life chances, and preventing entry into the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
  • Identifying risks and needs of children with adverse childhood experiences
  • Providing consistency and tools to help children feel safe, secure, and empowered
  • Working alongside teachers and staff to support student development

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Passionate about helping young people achieve their potential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, resilience, and a professional approach
  • No previous experience required; degrees in Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science are advantageous
  • Must have the right to work in the UK; no Visa sponsorship provided

Additional Details:

  • Start date: ASAP / April 2025
  • Trial days to ensure fit
  • On-site training, support, and CPD provided
  • Pay: £88-£90 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30-15:30, PAYE, term time only
