The Role
You’ll work closely with a Year 9 student with autism, providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day. You’ll help them access the curriculum, manage transitions, and stay engaged in lessons. Your role will involve building trust, promoting emotional regulation, and working closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies.

The Candidate
You’re a psychology graduate with a calm, empathetic manner and a real interest in neurodiversity and child development. Any experience working with young people—especially those with SEN—is a strong advantage. You’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to stay patient, positive, and professional in a classroom setting.
