Are you a Psychology graduate looking for your next adventure? Veritas Education are on the lookout for a talented Psychology graduate who wants to work within the education field. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with SEN. If you want to make a difference and get some experience working in a secondary school environment, please apply below.


Veritas Education work with schools in Waltham Forest, East London, to help them meet their staffing needs. We have placed candidates as Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Teachers, Pastoral and behavioural management staff, among many others.


The majority of our roles are until the end of the academic year with the view to stay on for September.


Required:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or similar
  2. Interest in working with children (specifically with SEN)
  3. Experience working with secondary school children (age 11-16) in some capacity
  4. Right to work in the UK
  5. Either have or be willing to get an enhanced DBS on the update service, plus provide two references

Responsibilities:
  1. Exact responsibilities will depend on role but may include:
  2. Working with children aged 11-16 operating classes in various subjects.
  3. Helping children with special educational needs
  4. Engaging with students for 4-5 periods
  5. Treating children with respect and kindness
