About The Role

Are you a Psychology Graduate with experience working with children? You can gain paid work in special needs schools across Hull supporting pupils with learning disabilities, additional learning needs, or social, emotional, and mental health needs.

  • The desired Psychology Graduate would work as a Teaching Assistant, providing vital support to teachers and pupils.
  • You will build positive relationships with pupils, devise strategies to overcome barriers to learning, and help them maximize their educational experience.
  • This role can be full or part-time depending on your circumstances.
About The School
  • Opportunities are available to support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs or those with learning disabilities.
  • You will use your Psychology knowledge to gain valuable experience for a future role working with children.
  • The role may become permanent after a qualifying period.
Requirements
  • Have a warm and friendly personality to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Have completed or be working towards a qualification in Psychology.
  • Be willing to work in special needs school settings.

Salary

£380 to £430 per week, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
