Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Psychology Graduate to join a welcoming primary school in Colchester as a Learning Support Assistant from September. You will support pupils with SEND, helping them engage with learning and build confidence within a supportive classroom.

You will work with teachers, the SENDCo and support staff to provide tailored help, including one-to-one and small-group sessions, fostering a nurturing environment where pupils can develop independence and reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Recent Psychology Graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher.
• Patient, empathetic and organised with an adaptable approach.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to use initiative.
• Confidence using IT would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with autism and other additional needs through one-to-one and small-group sessions.
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and support staff to provide tailored support.
• Help maintain a nurturing, structured learning environment where pupils can develop independence and reach their potential.
