Apply today! This Special Educational Needs School near Camberley is for children aged 4-16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD). Most children have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and an Autism diagnosis.
This Camberley-based school is looking for a passionate and committed Psychology, Autism, Speech and Language Support Assistant. You will be supporting a small class of 7-10 students, working in partnership with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development and language acquisition.
As a Psychology, Autism, Speech and Language Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain education and training, and work alongside qualified Speech and Language Therapists, Teachers, and other professionals, and deliver interventions to children with speech, language and communicational needs both in small groups and 1:1. You will make a real difference to the lives of the children, gaining vital experience which will enable you to kick-start your future career.
Experience is not required, but candidates should demonstrate an interest in working with children with SEN.
Start date: ASAP
Compensation: £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm, PAYE, term time only
Requirements: Must be able to travel to Camberley and surrounding areas
