About the Company:

Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, including expert witness assessments for courts and parole boards, and assessments in criminal, family, immigration, and medico-legal cases.

The Role:

This role involves working within a busy Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team, conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for children referred for autism and/or ADHD via HSE/NHS. The role may be hybrid, with some remote work, but attendance at the office is required.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments using established diagnostic tools, writing reports, providing recommendations, and possibly supervising junior staff, depending on experience.

Qualifications:
  • HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental and developmental assessments with children and young people
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
  • Ideally ADOS-2 / ADI-R trained
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Teamwork ability
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping
  • Additional qualifications in autism and/or ADHD preferred
