Job Opportunity: Educational Psychologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Educational Psychologist to join a reputable school. This role can be full-time or part-time, offering a salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 along with benefits.

As an Educational Psychologist, you will be part of a close-knit multi-disciplinary team, delivering personalized psychological assessments and support strategies for students. Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply, as funded training and support are available.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out in-depth psychological assessments to identify individual needs.
2. Collaborating with staff and families to design tailored support strategies.
3. Offering both direct and indirect therapeutic interventions.
4. Providing expert guidance and training to staff to embed consistent approaches.
5. Supporting students with high potential who present with autism, anxiety, and sensory-related barriers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Educational Psychologist, School Psychologist, Psychologist, or similar role.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent young people with complex needs.
• Strong understanding of school-related trauma and masking.
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Right to work in the UK.
