Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd. invites applications for a qualified psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Bramley Hill School in Surrey.

You will support educational and residential colleagues, provide therapeutic living and learning environments, and deliver individualised interventions to children and young people with autism and complex needs. The ideal candidate is HCPC-registered clinical, educational, forensic or counselling psychologist, experienced in assessment and formulation,

Qualifications

• Qualified Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
• Experience assessing and formulating interventions for children with complex needs.
• Experience supporting living and learning environments for a child or young person.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to educational and residential teams around our children.
• Offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure therapeutic support permeates education, care and support.

This role is based at Bramley Hill School, 3-days-per-week.

Bramley Hill School is an independent, specialist day school providing high quality education for boys and girls. Based in Surrey, the school meets the needs of pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues and associated behavioural difficulties.

Our clinicians are a crucial part of the most joined-up model in SEND. Across all of our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of our expertise andbreadth of provision. Our young people present with a complexity of need including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions and special educational needs.

As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team you will be supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.

Our Psychologists work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes, this ensures that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care and support we offer all of our children and young people. You will provide consultation, workshops, training and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.
